DHTML Menu Replace navigation frfock

Clicking on the DHTML Menu option brings up the following dialog that can be used to control the appearance and how certain menu items behave and are displayed. For example, you may have noticed that the Administer menu item appears twice in the DHTML navigation—remove this by deleting admin from the text area provided. Doing so means you have to double-click on Administer in order to open up its page.

With the jQuery slide effect setting saved, the menu now slides gracefully when it opens and closes.

The second option, Replace navigation block, presented in the By module view of DHTML Menus allows you to automatically replace any current menu items with their DHTML menu counterparts - this can save a bit of time dragging and dropping menus around the Blocks page.

Changes made to other modules can have a whole spectrum of different effects as we will see shortly and not all of them are implemented quite as easily as this one.
